COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Certificate Ill in Print Communications is suitable for trainees wishing to gain a broad and thorough knowledge of the Printing and Graphic Arts industry. The course provides the opportunity to develop pre-press skil ls in typography, design and layout, preparation of files for print, scanning images, image outputting, imposition and a range of current industry software applications.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 16 years of age or over
  • Completed Year 10.(or equivalent)

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT

English Languagr;: Exemption after July 1 2016 Students who have successfully completed in Australia in the English language either the Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or studies at the Certificate IV or higher level, in the two years before applying for the student visa.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS MUST MEET

Minimum 5.5 IELTS score & above or equivalent. (Those students who do not meet the minimum English requirement for International Students will need to package this program with an English Course before proceeding to the intended qualification).

ASSESSMENTS

All units of competence will be assessed using a select ion of tools(Portfolios,Reports, Role-plays, Practical observations, Case studies, Questioning, Simulation activities, and written tests)
